British Optical Association Museum Eye Opener Days:

The BOA museum is opening its doors this summer for a series of three Eye Opener days. The first of these was held on Tuesday 4 June, to be followed by 2 July and 6 August. The museum houses a fascinating collection of 27,000 items exploring vision and eye health throughout the ages. Usually only available to view on a guided tour by appointment, the museum will be open for walk-in visits from 2pm-5pm.

Find them at the College of Optometrists in Craven Street, London WC2N 5NG ~ open and of interest to all, not just optical practitioners

LONDON OPEN HOUSE  22 September 2019

THE OPHTHALMIC ANTIQUES INTERNATIONAL COLLECTORS' CLUB

AND THE OCULAR HERITAGE SOCIETY  April 2020

Preparations continue for the Ocular Heritage Society (OHS) meeting in London from 23-26 April 2020. Members of our Club will be invited to participate without the need for a further membership subscription, however where the capacity of an activity is limited, priority will be given to OHS members. In practice that might apply to the tours and excursions planned for the Thursday and Friday and early expressions of interest from OAICC members are therefore strongly advised. It is hoped that all who wish will be able to attend the jointly convened day of historical talks to be held on the Saturday, plus the banquet that evening, while the OAICC will be hosts to our American friends when they attend our own AGM on the Sunday, as guests of the Club. The latest news will be posted first to the 2020 Antique Vision meeting website:
